Review : T-Bone Burnett and special guests including the Williams Brothers and Maria McKee live unplugged at McCabe's Guitar Shop in Santa Monica, Dec.2, 1983. This was recorded from the soundboard. Despite a bit of hiss, the sound is full and rich. Those of you familiar with the Rockpalast show from Germany know that T Bone says he wrote "My Life and the Women Who Lived It" on the plane on the way over from America. As this tape proves, that was a bit of hype, as he opens with it. For those who had Dolly Parton's "I Will Always Love You" ruined by Whitney Houston, T-Bone's version will make you love it all over again.
