Review (CD liner notes) : Spirogyra, fronted by singer/songwriter Martin Cockerham and featuring the mellifluous voice of Barbara Gaskin, recorded three of the rarest, most collectable acid-folk albums of all time : St. Radigunds (1971), Old Boot Wine (1972) and Bells, Boots & Shambles (1973). This compilation includes all three LP's, plus an even rarer contemporaneous A-side and a quartet of previously-unreleased album outtakes.
