Review : Cardiff falls in the final run Gabriel made through the UK and Europe supporting his first solo album. The setlist had largely settled at this point and the shows were uniformly strong. As soundboard recordings go this one is very good. It starts a little hot, particularly Tony Levin's bass, but after a couple of songs the mix and recording levels lock in and the rest of the show makes for a very good listen. In addition to performing every song from his eponymous debut, Gabriel previews several from his second solo effort which would come the following year.
