Review : On this night of the "Down The Road Wherever" tour, Knopfler took the stage with an eleven-piece band, with no support act, in front of a sold-out venue. The concert opened straight away with Why Aye Man, followed by a rich mix of solo material and old Dire Straits songs, with striking interplay between the horns, fiddle and flute. Romeo And Juliet and a story-driven introduction to Sailing To Philadelphia provided the emotional highlights, while Speedway At Nazareth closed out the main set and earned a standing ovation. The audience was then treated to a double encore with Money For Nothing and Brothers In Arms. Going Home, rounding off a show of well over two hours.
