Review : Two nights after Toronto, and with no support act in front of another sold-out crowd, Knopfler and his eleven-piece band brought the "Down The Road Wherever" tour to the historic Murat Theatre in Indianapolis. Opening once again with Why Aye Man, the set moved through a well-balanced mix of solo material and Dire Straits favourites, with the horns, fiddle and flute weaving in and out of the arrangements. Romeo And Juliet and Sailing To Philadelphia stood out as emotional highlights, while Speedway At Nazareth brought the main set to a rousing close. The crowd was rewarded with a double encore, Money For Nothing followed by Going Home, rounding off another memorable evening on this tour.
