Review (AllMusic) : A nice compilation of Holiday fare, from Country to Standards to a blues adaptation of Willie Dixon's "Little Red Roster" into a Christmas ditty, Lu gathered more than some chestnuts to offer us on "Have Yourself A Rockin' Little Christmas". Recorded live with Ray Kennedy at the helm, this album does rock and makes it an album I'm eager to play again, year after year when waiting for snow, kissing under the mistletoe, and simply hoping to make it through December.

Review (Music Meter) : Veel kerstplaten worden doorgaans wel heel erg braaf. Gelukkig gaat Lucinda haar eigen gang. Niet een plaat vol met meezingers maar wel een lekkere plaat om met een glaasje whisky even weg te zakken.
