Review : On May 24th 1997, Kraftwerk, legendary German masters of electronica and some of the most influential progenitors of electronic music ever, played a long-awaited live gig at Britain's Tribal Gathering dance music festival, the largest legal dance gathering in the country, composed of a number of huge tents holding up to 10,000 people each in a field at Luton Hoo. Shamefully, the BBC was supposed to be broadcasting the show live, but instead, edited it down and only broadcast about one hour of the concert.
