Review (Geetarz) : For The final Trantura release, they decided to go out in style! Packaged in an attractive gatefold cardboard case, contained in a nice slip cover, cut with the legend "Eric Clapton / 25" and the serial number stamped on the inside of the sleeve (#391). On the outer sleeve, a gold sticker reads "Genuine Disc / Tarantulra". This is a nice, hot soundboard, and a personal favorite recording, perhaps the best show of the entire 1988 tour. Philadelphia has always been a town known for its responsive fans, and the crowd here was just unhinged, which really took the band to new heights. 1988 was the year the "Crossroads" box set was released, and this was billed as a "25th Anniversary / Greatest Hits" tour. Some of this material had just been re-introduced to live performance, so even the stuff that was old, seemed new again at the time. The source for this release was likely a pro shot video which has been in the hands of collectors and fans for some time, in varying quality. From time to time, with a keen ear one can hear a bit of VHS tracking noise in the audio if you listen very carefully, during quiet parts. It's a personal favorite show - I hope you enjoy it as much as I do.
