Review (Bob's Boots) : A great compilation of tracks recorded from eight concerts in August 2002. Great performances and very good, consistent sound quality throughout. This tour is perhaps destined to be overlooked by what came later in the year. It's nice to have a lot of quality performances all in one place to represent this leg. An interesting overview of this period of the touring year and a worthy addition to your collection.

Note (Bob's Boots) : No label is listed on the packaging. ICE states that it is not in conjunction with Wild Wolf... however, the style of packaging, the printing, and the catalog numbering method used all indicate that this has indeed come from the Scorpio/Wild Wolf stable. Bill's Field Recordings Guide incorrectly lists this as being on a label called 'Real Boot'. There is no such label.

Personal comments : Most of the tracks are not nicely faded-out, like we should expect from a bootleg compilation. An abrupt stop in the middle of applause is not exactly enjoyable to listen to. On the other hand, the sound on all tracks is very decent, perhaps recorded by the same taper with the same equipment.
