Review (Bob's Boots) : The first Rattlesnake release featuring Bob Dylan, this triple cd set presents two shows from two consecutive nights. The first is a Dylan only gig in a small 500 + capacity nightclub, the second, a co-headliner with Paul Simon in the massive 20,000 + seat Madison Square Garden. Between them, they pretty much give a definitive overview of the summer 1999 tour. Although the difference in the venue size comes across on the recordings (both in terms of sound and performance), they are equally exceptional.  The duets with Paul Simon from Madison Square Garden are included, as is the first ever live performance of 'Highlands' from the previous month. (The MSG show is the second performance of the song). The discs are housed in a triple cd case along with an 8 page booklet of photos and essay. The packaging is based on photos taken from the vinyl edition of 'Time Out Of Mind'.
