A great European show in absolutely stunning sound quality, and beautiful packaging. Perhaps not as interesting as the shows later on in the year, the European tour was still very good; and it's nice to have it so lovingly documented. A very powerful show, and highly recommended. After being in gear to hear an acoustic cover blurgrass song to open the show, it's almost odd to hear the same treatment given to Maggie's Farm. It works well, however and leads into a powerful Seņor. I don't like the machine-gun fire vocals that Dylan uses to deliver It's Alright, Ma, but... the show is underway. A couple of loud girls come in at the end of Moonlight, and keep it up throughout I Don't Believe You. Folks... when you're at the show; give the man, the audience, (and you never know... maybe the tapers) the respect they deserve. Keltner's drums on Masters Of War are inspired. They somehow take the song to a new level. This tour's finale of the always powerful Blowin' In The Wind never fails to excite me. It's the highlight here. |
