Label : The Swingin' Pig Records

Venue : Boston Gardens, Boston, Massachusetts, USA

Date : January 14, 1974 (afternoon show)

Quality : Soundboard Recording (A-)

Review (BobsBoots) : This recording is directly from the soundboard of the afternoon show at The Garden. The tape has been in circulation since the day of the show, and was released as a double LP by Berkeley entitled "Dylan & The Band Return". The only problem has been that the tape was a little noisy. Swingin' Pig has addressed the problem by digital filtering. The recording sounds better than ever. Still not fantastic, but definitely worthy of the CD. Unlike most incredible packages from this Label, this one is rather simple black and white with two vintage photos. The performance is an average one for this tour. Also released as a 2 LP set.
