Review (Bobs Boots) : Excellent audience recording of a great early 80s show. Bob's voice is up front, and powerful. The song versions don't stray far from the released studio versions, but are every bit as powerful... if not more so. The only slightly weak spots are perhaps Precious Angel and Gonna Change My Way Of Thinking. They are played faster than the studio version, and seem to loose their grandeur. Perhaps the highlight is What Can I Do For You? Even though the final harp solo goes a tad sour, Bob truly pours his heart into this one. The audience is respectful. The few shouts and hollers add to the "gospel tent revival" feeling of the show. If you like the gospel releases, you will love this set. The bonus material is from a direct line recording of the TV broadcast in great quality. The photos and aesthetics are elegant. Both discs are silk screened with the generic Wild Wolf one color logo.
