Comments : The first night of five shows at the small New York City Beacon Theatre (with a capacity of nearly 3.000 people) was that of a beginning, of openings and posibilities, rather than of a climax and culmination. Bob's voice is in splendid shape and high in the mix. With "Visions of Johanna" as highlight of the evening this recording is worth in any Dylan collection.
