Review (Bobs Boots) : This is a nice Wild Wolf release of a fine, rarities-packed show. The recording is very good, albeit a little less defined that some of the very best. The vocal does stand out in front of the rest of the instrumentation, however, which is preferable to some of these shows in which the vocal is buried in the mix. The performance is top notch, but then again, so were a lot of those Y2K shows. There's a lot of CD releases from that year to choose from, so this one can easily lose itself in the crowd. The packaging is minimal - just a single page front, and a back cover. An enjoyable disc... but by no means essential. The title is a neat little play on words. Road manager Al Santos has been opening the show for quite some time with the introduction of "Columbia recording artist"..... tonight Bob is being recorded at the Columbia river gorge with the Columbia river itself serving as a distant, majestic backdrop.
