Review (Bob's Boots) : Bob pours his heart into the opening song. The audience is a bit loud to start with, but they soon mellow. Tangled Up In Blue is the new "get down funky" version. The tracks keep flowing back and forth from the Italian show to the French shows. The French shows are just a touch cleaner. For concert recording buffs, you will be disheartened to know that only about two thirds of the Milan show appear here. Songs are left out and others are added to the whims of the compiler. Compare these three concerts. As for the good news, The songs not included are some of the more pedestrian ones. Their absence makes room for a few gems. These audience recordings present highlights of  the French and Italian shows, rather than simply a single concert. The end result is most satisfying indeed. The package is nicely done.  The front and back cover is the artist's attempt at a literal translation of a line in Gates Of Eden. Disc two contains the 10:28 version played in Toulouse on June 30th. This is the compiler's favorite, and quoted lines appear throughout the package. The inside insert contains an informative tour write up, concert schedule, and track listing. The only problems are a bit of confusion over a couple of song venues, and the omission of track four of disc two... Desolation Row. It appears on the CD, it's just not listed on the inside.
