Review (Bob's Boots) : An exhaustive 5 CD collection that chronicles the four 1999 club shows that Dylan performed during  the Dylan-Simon tour. Over six and a half hours of music containing the entire Eugene and NY shows, and the bulk of the other two shows. Missing is the duplicated encore songs Highway 61 Revisited, It Ain't Me, Babe, and Not Fade Away from Detroit and Like A Rolling Stone, It Ain't Me Babe, Not Fade Away &  Blowin' In The Wind from Cincinnati. As an added bonus, the set includes 'Highlands' from the MSG show. Each CD is a different color and features the manufacturer's wolf logo. Each comes in an individual sleeve with a generic front and track list on back. The sleeves are housed in a classy looking cardboard box.

Review (DEEP) : Stunning, smartly configured, "raise the bar" box set of club shows from Summer '99. What we have here are 4 shows on five disks, with repeated encores omitted. This set is a killer. Most important, the sound quality throughout is particularly fine, up close and personal for each show. A joy of a listen at over six and a half hours! Performance highlights are too numerous to detail; this one warrants repeated listens and the track listings speak for themselves.
