Review (RateYourMusic) : The only solo release from this session musician who's worked with Sly and Robbie, Grace Jones and Marianne Faithfull. In fact, the group effort "Broken English" written by Reynolds / Faithfull / Mavety / York / Stannard functions as the title track of Faithfull's most notable solo release. The album has, as you might expect, a gentle reggae lilt supporting the tracks, giving the album a very relaxed, genial, if not always sunny, feel. Lead track is a cover of the Dan Hicks chestnut, "I Scare Myself" and highlights include both the aforementioned tracks and "Over Here (No Time for Justice)" - another collaboration with Faithfull - and "Guilt".
