Review (AllMusic) : Paul Rodgers made it no secret that Bad Company’s 2008 reunion gig at the Seminole Hard Rock Hotel & Casino was to “protect the legacy they have built and cement the rights to the trademark Bad Company for touring,” a trademark they capitalized upon the following year with a brief American tour, but the comeback started with that 2008 gig. Florida is where it all started, and that return to glory is documented on the 2010 CD/DVD set Hard Rock Live. This clean, professional performance never strays from the expected, playing all the classics with efficiency instead of flair. It’s certainly not bad, and may even be quite entertaining for die-hard fans, but there’s no denying that it sounds like a band cementing their trademark for future use.
