ALAN PRICE & ROB HOEKE : TWO OF A KIND |
|
Label : Polydor Release Date : 1977 Length : 39:44 Review : Collaboration album with Rob Hoeke, a Dutch singer, pianist, composer and songwriter most famous for his renditions in the field of Boogie-woogie. Besides that he played and recorded in a musical variety of styles ranging from Blues, Soul, Rock and Rhythm & Blues. Review (Rate Your Music) : I have no idea why Dutch boogie woogie pianist Rob Hoeke and Britisch singer Alan Price were linked to each other, but this record is in the end not that bad. If features some great musicians and Price contributed a couple of nice songs. JJ Cale's "Call Me the Breeze" and Hunter's "I Almost Lost My Mind" are also well done. |
